Treatment Style
Our therapists specialize in treatment therapy. This differs from the normal spa or mall massage. Our therapists work with the goal of making you better. Whether it’s one massage or a package of ten, you will have treatment goals and achieve them. A relaxing massage here will melt you into bliss. While you’re blissed out our therapists will work out that sore neck connected to your mouse clicking finger or that tight shoulder connected to your sacrum.
Each Massage therapist has their own style here. Deep tissue massage is accomplished by both traditional and conventional methods. From Shiatsu to Lomi Lomi each therapist has a wealth of techniques they can use to best accomplish your massage goals. Every year Ascension massage therapists are required to take advanced continuing education classes. Between the new techniques and therapists who have seen it all we believe we offer the best healers.
Insurance Massage
Ascension Wellness has an extensive Insurance program. We take almost every Insurance that offers massage benefits whether in Washington State or not. We can check your benefits for both acupuncture & massage and explain them to you. (We have a special therapist line with no hold times, we don’t mind.) If you have a referral or prescription you can bring it with you to your first appointment or you can have it faxed by your Doctor to 206-878-6900 or emailed. We can work with your Doctor or can refer you to a few local Doctors & Chiropractors that we have an excellent rapport with.
